A modern powertrain built on experience

The Volvo 7800 Electric features a robust powertrain with a proven layout concept. The midmounted motor reduces exposure to vibrations, heat from the brakes, and impacts from road potholes. Compared to wheel hub motors, this design provides a longer motor and transmission lifespan, along with enhanced reliability and uptime.

Dual motors

The Volvo 7800 Electric model has dual motors to ensure outstanding uphill capability, due to the 400kW output, corresponding to 540 hp.
