“The B11R was the perfect vehicle for our fleet expansion following on from the purchase of a Volvo B8R SB3 earlier this year,” explained Fernhill Managing Director, Richard Holgate.
“We particularly liked the look of the Sunsundegui SC7 bodywork and the B11R chassis is renowned for its impressive fuel consumption, and with 53 seats, the coach ticks all boxes from our standpoint.”
The coach features the Volvo Driver Support System (DSS) which is fitted as standard. The DSS includes AEBS (forward collision warning and advanced emergency braking systems), LKS (lane keeping support) and ACC (adaptive cruise control). ACC is offered as an option on other Volvo B11R body types when specified with the I-Shift gearbox.

Fernhill is a family run business based in Berkshire with more than 35 years’ experience. The company operates a fleet of modern coaches which undertake a variety of work from school contracts to private and corporate hire.
