Events are what happens on board the vehicle. Virtually everything is logged and transmitted. By filtering and analysing, you can identify anomalies and see patterns. In combination with the position and driving profile services it is a powerful tool for productivity enhancement.
During operation, all vehicle events are logged. Exact time and position are stored together with other data and this flow of events constitutes the raw data for several other services.
By using the Volvo Connect map tool, you can see all events plotted on a map. For each entry you get the event description, vehicle ID, speed, SOC or fuel level, and odometer reading.
During a shift, every bus in your fleet registers hundreds of events. Good for statistics, a challenge for clarity. Thanks to the filtering functions and use of notifications you easily sort out the important ones.
