You can start today! With Connect API there is no need for additional onboard hardware. Data is reachable via Volvo Cloud and provides access to several important operational data parameters. Connect API is a subscription service and the fee covers API updates.
Volvo collects, processes and converts connected vehicle data into a standardized format, providing better possibilities to integrate into fleet management systems in a multi-brand fleet scenario and achieve interoperability.

Connect API comes in three different versions. Diesel, Electric and a dedicated version for energy storage data.
Access to information about the diesel buses in a fleet, their positions and operational data.
