Jennifer has a great background, having previously worked as an Executive Assistant for Volvo Truck and Bus Centre North & Scotland for more than seven years. In this role, she acquired a long list of valuable contacts throughout the area and developed a strong understanding of the Volvo brand making her an ideal appointment for the region.
As she gets set to embark on the next chapter of her professional journey, Jennifer outlines that she is excited for a new challenge and is ready to immerse herself in a new role. The appointment comes at an exciting time, as Volvo spearheards the support for the bus and coach industry, as it rebuilds following COVID-19 and also faces the challenge of changing legislation.
Jennifer said: “This is an exciting role to get my teeth into, especially since Volvo has just launched the Volvo 9700 to the UK market and there’s already a lot of interest around it. I know the North & Scotland region well and I’m really excited by the challenge of meeting our customers’ requirements.
“I’m already so proud to be part of such a reputable, worldwide brand and be able to continue my journey with them and play my part in contributing to their continuous growth. I’m particularly looking forward to meeting customers throughout the region, as I’ll be spending a lot of my time on the road making key visits.”
Jennifer also highlighted the support of the existing team in helping her settle into her new role, particularly Regional Account Managers Phil Hudson and Diarmaid Thompson.
