“The B11R continues to surpass all of our expectations, especially in terms of its fuel efficiency. The Euro VI engine has continued to cut our operational costs, while still providing a high quality and superior experience for our passengers and drivers alike.
“As we own and operate six of our own hotels in Scotland, we mainly use our coaches for transporting our guests to and from various destinations. As our passengers are likely to be enjoying their holidays, we want to make sure that as well as having a comfortable stay at our hotel, their travel should be just as an impressive experience. The B11R and its Jonckheere bodywork provides just that.”
The vehicles will be on a three year Volvo Blue preventative maintenance contract which will be carried out by the Volvo Truck and Bus North and Scotland depot in Cardonald. Steve added: “Being able to utilise Volvo’s service contracts has been a real asset for us, as we’re able to access fast and high standard servicing for our coaches.
“Our return to Volvo each year with our repeat order is down to the coach being perfect for our business needs and the Volvo B11R chassis and Jonckheere bodywork combination simply works for us.”
