Chris Reay, Managing Director of Reays Coaches, said: “We have heard some great things about the B8R, so when we needed four new coaches for our expanding new school contracts, we decided to turn to Volvo, which offers vehicles that have served us well in the past.
“From our understanding of its fuel consumption and reliability, the Volvo B8R is the perfect solution for us. We also needed a vehicle that would be robust due to the high footfall the vehicles will see on a day to day basis.
“Besides daily school contracts, the 72 seat capacity allows us to take two classrooms per vehicle making this an affordable choice for head teachers when planning school outings.”
Volvo describes the B8R SB3 as an outstanding choice for school contract work with two plus three seating configuration and three point seatbelts, which allows operators to carry the younger generation passengers efficiently as well as in comfort and safety.
Chris Reay added: “We received great advice from our Volvo Retail Bus and Coach Sales Manager, Phil Hudson, who understood our requirements and needs perfectly, as a result we have ordered a further two 72 seat capacity Volvo coaches which are scheduled to arrive in September. We are looking forward to product quality and fuel savings and will work with Volvo Truck & Bus North & Scotland in Carlisle for all of our aftermarket support.”
