The new vehicles joined the Golden Tours fleet this month and are already being used on the company’s popular London sightseeing tourist routes.
“We have been delighted with the performance and reliability of all our Volvo fleet and look no further when we need new vehicles,” explained Golden Tours Chairman & CEO, Nick Palan. “As well as the 20 new Volvo B5TL buses, Golden Tours has also specially modified an existing B9TL bus into a 4D experience, effectively making the bus into a theatre. The converted bus includes multiple television screens, projection equipment and smoke machines to heighten the customer experience.”

Golden Tours is an English open top bus and coach tour operator based in London. The company was established in 1984, initially offering airport transfers and coach tours for the London tourist market. In June 2011, Golden Tours began operating open top bus services within Central London and in early 2012, became the preferred partners of Warner Bros. Studio Tour - The Making of Harry Potter and runs an hourly bus service to the studios in Leavesden near Watford.
