Supplied from Volvo’s plant in Borås, Sweden the chassis were bodied at the MCV plant in Egypt, before being shipped to the UK and delivered to Golden Tours.
The new vehicles joined the Golden Tours fleet in February and are already being used on the company’s popular London sightseeing tourist routes.
Volvo’s low floor 10.3-metre B9TL is specified with a rigid low beam front axle. The bus is powered by a rear mounted Volvo D9B engine and is fitted with the ZF Ecolife gearbox.

London based sightseeing tour operator Golden Tours have taken delivery of a further ten new Volvo B9TL open top buses with MCV bodywork to add to the six vehicles already delivered in 2013.
