This repeat purchase represents a further endorsement of the Volvo product and service by the well-established company, which employs 35 drivers and five engineers to provide bus services across seven main routes in the local region, as well as school contracts.
“This is our second Volvo Wrightbus vehicle in just 18 months,” explained Coach Services Operation Manager Thomas Crawford. “We think the reliability and build quality is undoubtly the best on the market and that, combined with the back-up we get from Volvo, just keeps us coming back.
“Specified with the private plate ‘CS12 BUS’, the B7RLE has been bought to replace an Optare Solo on our Brandon – Thetford – Bury St Edmunds corridor,” continued Thomas Crawford. “We’re delighted with the vehicle and more importantly it brings the average fleet age on these routes down to 2.5 years.”
Coach Services new Volvo B7RLE is fully compliant with DDA access standards and features safety rails throughout the vehicle. The bus is finished in the unmistakable white and red Coach Services livery, with the logo emblazoned across the side.
The lightweight B7RLE has a dependable, yet robust construction ensuring considerable operating reliability with the added bonus of a low entry, allowing Coach Services passengers to swiftly enter and exit the vehicle with minimum disruption and maximised safety.
Specified with the rear mounted Volvo D7E engine attached to the ZF fully automated 6-speed gearbox, the six cylinder vehicle meets all of the latest emission standards and also has extremely low fuel emissions, meaning it is economic as well as reliable.
Coach Services Limited operates a 40 vehicle fleet, dominated by Volvo and Scania, comprising of both executive standard coaches and low floor service buses. This latest purchase further strengthens Volvo’s relationship with the Thetford based firm.

Just 18 months after taking delivery of their first B7RLE, Norfolk based Coach Services Limited have purchased their second Volvo bus with Wrightbus Eclipse 2 bodywork.
