The new dealership represents an investment of over 100 million pesos for Autodelta Coach Builders Inc., which already have two other facilities in the Philippines, focused on bodybuilding. The facility stands on a 10,000 sqm property adjacent to the Alabang Business District. Unique to the Filipino bus industry, the dealership aims to be a one-stop shop with a showroom, parts warehouse and a service facility.
The modern facility can service up to nineteen units at a time and can accommodate fifty parked buses. Out of the nineteen service bays; seven are allocated to quick service repairs and periodic maintenance, ten are allocated to major repairs and two for body repairs. In addition, the service area is equipped with a side slip tester, a roller brake tester and air and electric reels. The service area will also feature a driver’s facility, training room and an engine and transmission rebuilding room.
The new dealership will also feature a sales area where customers can build their vehicles “from the ground up”. The customer sales area will aim to make it easier for decision makers to configure their bus. Customers will be able to view different interior trim levels, seat configurations and a variety of amenities and accessories that can be set up in the vehicle.
